Losing someone is one of the hardest things you ever have to face. I lost my stepfather, Mark, quite unexpectedly and suddenly to cancer – it leaves you with a gaping hole in your life.
I don’t think you ever get over the loss, you just learn to somehow continue living your life without that person there – and do what you can, where you can, to honour their memory in some way.
For me, working for World Cancer Research Fund is something positive that I do every day and I believe the work we do would have meant a lot to my stepfather. You can’t change what’s happened, but we all hope that what we do now might make a difference to someone else some day.

Sharing happy memories, stories and photos of someone is a lovely way to keep their memory alive. Online tribute funds are a meaningful way of doing this, providing a private space where your family and friends can share memories of your loved one and collect donations in their name.
World Cancer Research Fund, along with our partner Love2Donate, are pleased to be able to offer you the opportunity to start an online tribute fund so that you can leave a tribute, expressing your feelings to give comfort and support to all those affected by the loss of your loved one.

The information on this form will be shared with Love2Donate in order to provide its service, and we will delete our copy of the data in line with our retention policy.
